In 1989, Wordsworth Communications was founded as an agency with a single focus: public relations. After working more than two decades in the field before starting the company, our founders knew how easily PR could be misunderstood and underutilized in the absence of such a commitment. And as veterans of the agency world, we wanted to create a firm with a structure and way of doing business that paid close attention to the needs — all the needs — of clients.
What We Do
At Wordsworth, we don't do ads, create logos or buy media. Our
attention is focused solely on the public relations discipline and its
many off-shoots.
We help our clients develop and implement communications strategies that reach important audiences that affect increased sales, increased attendance and brand loyalty. On the ground, this may take the form of media relations, word-of-mouth/viral marketing, Web postings, relationship marketing, publications, legislative relations or crisis management.
How We Work
We're proud of the relationships we create with our clients. They are based on doing great work, and becoming an integral part of client success. We earn our money through bright thinking, hard work and tangible results. Our strategies are sharp, our plans effective and our executions affordable. We hire the best PR practitioners and give them the tools and working environment they need to succeed.
Wordsworth will always be a work in progress. But after nearly two decades of success, we know we're on the right path.
